Get ready to be able to carry your tiny farm around with you, because Chucklefish’s CEO has tweeted that the smash hit, super cute farming RPG that Colm was terrible at will be coming to the Nintendo Switch!

Finn Brice, Chucklefish’s CEO, tweeted last night that Stardew Valley has now been approved for the Switch, though they’re still ‘working on finalising a release date with all parties involved’.

Brice is often pretty open about things that Chucklefish is working on, having pushed a few screens of the studio’s new ‘Stardew Valley meets Harry Potter’ school game at the end of August.

Stardew Valley is also imminently entering beta testing for a multiplayer mode, which will be pushed to the whole game in a patch in ‘early 2018’. Exciting times for those of us who love growing loads of radishes, giving people shells to make them like you, and dungeon crawling for precious metals, but want to do that both on a delayed South West train service and with friends.
