Star Wars Outlaws has now been revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase through a trailer that mainly featured the heroine you’ll be playing as named Kay and the intergalactic locales you’ll be venturing all throughout.

In addition, the preview also gave us a look at some of the other characters that you’ll be meeting during your adventure, including your lovable companion that’ll remain by your side, the cross-eyed Stormtroopers you’ll be battling, and the extraterrestrials you’ll be facing in a hand of poker.

Here’s the setup: “As the Galactic Empire relentlessly pursues the final defeat of the Rebel Alliance, the criminal underworld thrives. Fans will play as cunning scoundrel Kay Vess and her loyal companion Nix as they attempt one of the greatest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen. Seeking the means to start a new life, players will join Kay and Nix as they fight, steal, and outwit their way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates and join the galaxy’s most wanted.”

It turns out that this is the Star Wars open world game that Ubisoft has been teasing for about two years, and is apparently slated to launch in 2024. Though the game debuted at the Xbox Games Showcase, it’ll be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

In the meantime, check out the trailer for yourself here.
