BioWare’s Star Wars: The Old Republic will be released in North America on December 20 of this year, according to a statement made by the firm’s co-founders Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk during their keynote address at the Eurogamer Expo this weekend.

The MMO will reach Europe two days later on December 22.

Users can pay a flat subscription of £8.99 per month to access the game, or alternatively £25.17 for a three-month bundle and £46.14 for six months, Eurogamer reports.

This news comes after rumours that Star Wars: The Old Republic may be delayed until next year. It looks like BioWare will get the game out just before the year end.
