BioWare has detailed the world PvP system for Star Wars: The Old Republic during its recent PAX presentation.
According to the developer, the game will feature neutral planets for players to fight over and include territory control gameplay. The planet of Ilym was the first to be revealed as a world PvP planet.
All world PvP planets will feature capturable bases that can be held by Republic or Imperial forces, as well as objectives to take down certain defences throughout the planet.
Rewards will include Valour, XP, and Mercenary Commendations which can be used to purchase PvP gear, as reported by Ten Ton Hammer.
Beta weekends for Star Wars: The Old Republic begin this Friday.
