Respawn Entertainment, the developer behind Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Apex Legends, appears to be working on a new IP.

According to a job advert posted on its website—but which now appears to have been taken down—the studio is looking for someone to establish a small incubation team, in order to work on “a brand new IP.”

No further detail is given on the project, other than the ad mentioning “new, practical technologies to enable ‘adventuring forever.’” (Thanks, VGC.)

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a refreshing game, whose coarse, and rough, and irritating edges could be easily sanded down with a sequel—which, while not officially confirmed, is almost certainly happening behind thick and thoroughly sealed doors, somewhere at EA.

I have a good feeling about this.
