The patch will update the retail game to version 1.01 and fixes a very long list of issues that must have either slipped under the radar or were intentionally left in the retail game to ensure the title made it to retail on time. The improvements made with the patch include faster load times, increased accuracy for auto-detection of graphics Detail Level, increased Multiplayer stability for LAN and Internet games, and fixing a problem that that could prevent progress past mission 4 in the Rebel Campaign.
