Let’s face it, the main reason for wanting VR to be a success is so we can all hold a virtual lightsaber and wield cool Force powers. Sadly the imminent VR mission for Star Wars Battlefront won’t feature lightsabers, but does offer the next best thing.

As the title of the free DLC suggests, Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission for PlayStation VR puts PlayStation VR users in control of their very own X-Wing as they jump through hyperspace to carry out an important mission for the Rebellion.

Battlefront owners will be able to play the new mission from December 6, which is the same day Battlefront Season Pass owners can also access the Rogue One: Scarif DLC.
