Star Wars Battlefront II developer DICE has extended its roadmap for the sci-fi shooter, confirming content will be continually rolled out until February 2019, at which point Anakin Skywalker will be made available.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves too much, though. First of all, General Grievous will arrive this month, and will be equipped with his Jedi Hunter clobber. However, you can hit up the shop and buy his Battle-Damaged look using credits or crystals if you fancy it.
In addition, October also rolls out the N1 Starfighter for Hero Starfighter mode, as well as changes to the Hero Health Star Cards.
Next month will see the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi in his Jedi Master, and DICE also has plans to release his Robed costume as well as another outfit for General Grievous during the same month. The Geonosians will also join as part of the Geonosis map's living world.
December won't have any updates, so things move swiftly onto Count Dooku's arrival in January 2019. The Separatist overlord will also receive an additional costume during this time, as will Obi-Wan Kenobi, who will be able to strap on his General Kenobi clobber.
Anakin Skywalker will arrive in February as previously mentioned, and comes with a second outfit alongside the 501st Legion clone trooper appearances. There's also a large-scale, non-linear game mode in the pipeline too, featuring capital ship takedowns and capture points.
Star Wars Battlefront II arrived on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One last November, though its launch was marred by controversy surrounding its implementation of loot boxes.
DICE eventually took them down temporarily as a result of the backlash, before sliding them back in a few months later in altered form.
