EA has announced that Star Wars Battlefront II will be embracing the Clone Wars for its next major content drop.

While the movie Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones was pretty much a load of rubbish, Battlefront II is at least bringing the best bits to enjoy, namely Count Dooku, Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, Anakin Skywalker, and more as part of the expansion.

If that wasn't enough, developer DICE is also churning out a brand new sandbox mode, the Geonosis map, and Hero Starfighters, the latter of which will roll out in July.

Right now the Han Solo Season is in full swing for Battlefront II, but expect more details on the Clone Wars content at the end of June.
