Electronic Arts has announced that Count Dooku will be winging his way to Star Wars Battlefront II on January 23.

Darth Tyranus, who was played by the late, great Christopher Lee in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, will come equipped with his Dark Ritual outfit.

Dooku's appearance marks a bunch of new updates for Star Wars Battlefront II based on the prequel trilogy, and will be joined by a new Clone Trooper outfit – the Coruscant Guard.

Developer DICE is also planning a bunch of other updates throughout the month, so be sure to check out the Tweet below to find out more info.

Star Wars Battlefront II was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in November 2017, although it didn't exactly get off to the best of starts thanks to its controversial use of microtransactions.

Things have improved a great deal since then, however, with tweaks to microtransactions and a steady stream of updates keeping things ticking over.
