Star Ocean: Second Evolution will be out in Europe in Spring 2009, Square Enix has announced.
The PSP exclusive RPG is actually a rebuilt version of the second game in the series, Star Ocean: The Second Story, released for the PlayStation in Japan in 1998, North America in 1999 and Europe in 2000.
According to the official press release, it’s got “exciting real-time battles that keep players fully immersed in the action” and “brand-new, fully-voiced animated cut-scenes provided by anime powerhouse Production I.G”.
The game was released in Japan in April, and is due out in the US in January 2009.
