Square Enix has announced that Star Ocean: Second Evolution will be released across Europe and all PAL territories on February 13, 2009, exclusively on the PSP.
Continuing the Star Ocean saga, Second Evolution has been completely remastered for the PSP and features a revised game engine, improved battle system and fully-voiced, all-new animated scenes presented in widescreen.
The game also offers a new layer of character interaction thanks to a private action system which introduces new subplots between characters.
John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. commented: “2009 is set to be a landmark year for the Star Ocean series, I’m delighted that new fans can continue to experience this classic series with the release of Star Ocean: Second Evolution for PSP and I hope players are excitedly looking forward to the forthcoming release of Star Ocean: The Last Hope.”
