Nintendo has announced a fresh batch of 3DS titles will join its Select range on February 4, including Star Fox 64 3D. I never played a game called Star Fox 64 when I was younger, but I did play Lylat Wars, which was bloody fantastic.

Joining Fox McCloud and chums' handheld adventure will be Super Mario Maker and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, with all three games retailing for the budget price of $19.99.

The Select lineup already includes some must-have 3DS titles, such as Super Mario 3D Land and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

Star Fox 64 Lylat Wars was released on the Nintendo 64 back in 1997, and sees Fox, Slippy, Falco, and Peppy battling against space ape Andross. The 3DS version includes revamped graphics and support for Gyro controls to command the Arwing, in addition to a new multiplayer Battle Mode.

The game also coined the infamous 'do a barrel roll' line. Brilliant!
