Square Enix has announced the line-up of games it’s taking to next month’s Gamescom, where it plans to debut the first European public hands-on of downloadable adventure Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
Lara will be joined by Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call and Nosgoth, along with mobile titles Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen and Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King “and more”.
Will Hitman and Deus Ex be revealed there too? Square Enix isn’t saying.
“It’s great for Square Enix to support gamescom once again,” said COO Mike Sherlock, “the show is growing year on year in terms of numbers and importance, and is the biggest gaming event in Europe. Our games showcase the impressive talent from Square Enix’s Eastern and Western studios and our line-up has something for everyone – MMO players, console gamers, families, mobile users and PC competitive gamers.”
Square Enix’s Gamescom line-up follows confirmation of Konami’s line-up yesterday, when it revealed plans to show off “major advances” to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
Gamescom begins in just two weeks time on Wednesday, August 13.
