Square Enix managed to reveal the release date for the Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMIND DLC in a trailer that has now been pulled from the official Kingdom Hearts YouTube account (via Eurogamer).

Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura said he wouldn’t be able to hint at the DLC release date because, “people would get mad at him.” Here’s hoping that whoever accidentally leaned on the big red button in Square Enix’s offices didn’t get too much of a telling-off. Although the developer yanked the trailer from the internet, the revealed release date was already doing the rounds. The DLC will come out on January 23, 2020 and February 25, 2020 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One respectively. Now, stop reading if you don’t want to see spoilers for Kingdom Hearts 3!

In the trailer, we got a glimpse of Aerith, Leon, and Yuffie, and playable characters Kairi and Riku. The ReMIND DLC will add a photo mode, slideshow mode, fast pass mode, and “black code” mode, which lets players use a super hard difficulty that limits health. And, the Oathkeeper blade and Sora’s new battle form will come to the game. Square Enix isn’t slowing down any time soon, as it is recruiting for new high definition Kingdom Hearts titles in the future.

Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMIND will release for PlayStation 4 on January 23, 2020, and for Xbox One on February 25, 2020. Watch the trailer below (credit to USGamer.net!)
