Children’s TV channel Disney XD has announced the launch of the Aim High campaign, in which boys are being encouraged to aim high in life, try new things and be the best they can be through a series of mentorships with inspiring professionals.

What’s this got to do with gaming? Well, two of the mentors are Black Rock Studio’s Steve Rockett and Ian Hudson. The pair worked as Principle Audio Designer and Lead Track Designer, respectively, on recent arcade racer Split/Second.

Mentorships will be filmed and will air on Disney XD in the UK later this year.

Applications for the video games section open on July 5, with more info available on the Disney XD website.
