After making a big splash with the original unveiling of Splinter Cell Conviction several years back, Ubisoft removed the game from the limelight and we’ve heard next to nothing on it since.

However, the launch of a new teaser website seems to indicate that Sam Fisher’s time in the shadows will soon come to an end.

The website features a Third Echelon logo with the text, “site currently under investigation” and “if you have any information on Sam Fisher, pleaser report it here”. The text links through to the Ubisoft forums.

There’s no countdown timer which seems to be common these days, but given that E3 is only weeks away we’re guessing Ubisoft will be showing off the title at its conference or perhaps even at Microsoft’s – seeing as the game was announced as an Xbox 360 and Windows exclusive.
