Ubisoft showed off some really impressive titles at its Ubidays conference last night, including Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia, EndWar and the teaser for Beyond Good and Evil 2, but there was one notable absence.

Splinter Cell: Conviction has been rumoured to have been heavily delayed, with development said to have been completely restarted, thus pushing the game back to a late 2009 or spring 2010 release.

The rumour has now gained new momentum following the game’s no show at the Ubidays conference last night. There is of course the chance the game will show up at the show today, but it’s not looking good for Sam Fisher fans.
