Hotly anticipated stealth-em-up Splinter Cell: Conviction will be out in the UK on April 16, Ubisoft has confirmed.
In a Tweet, the company said: “And to be crystal clear, Splinter Cell Conviction will be out on April 13 (US), April 15 (Europe + Australia), April 16 (UK).”
Conviction, due out on Xbox 360 and PC, has suffered a number of delays. In January Ubisoft announced that it would miss its previously confirmed February 26, 2010 release.
In July 2009 Ubisoft confirmed the game would no longer be released in the publisher’s third fiscal quarter (October 1 – December 31, 2009).
It was all due to wanting to add polish, Ubisoft said.
Conviction’s looking great, as anyone who’s read our hands-on previews will know.
