Ubisoft has announced that Xbox 360 and PC title Splinter Cell: Conviction has been delayed and will no longer be released in the publisher’s third fiscal quarter (October 1 – December 31, 2009).
The publisher has stated the game will now be released during its fourth fiscal quarter, meaning a release date at some point between January 1, 2010 and March 31, 2010.
Yves Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer, stated: “We are disappointed that we have to postpone the release of several major games but we consider that this choice is the best one in the long-term interests of Ubisoft.”
