Attendees of this weekend’s MCM London Comic Con will be able to go hands-on with multiplayer shooter Splatoon ahead of next week’s launch, Nintendo has announced.

The game will be playable at the event alongside Mario Kart 8 and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, with exclusive items also available to purchase from Nintendo’s on-site store.

Amiibo fans will also get to compete in competitions on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and if you own a 3DS, don’t forget to bring it: Nintendo says there’ll be plenty of opportunities to StreetPass.

MCM London Comic Con begins at the Excel, Royal Victoria Docks, London this Friday, 22nd May, with tickets starting at £15. Splatoon launches exclusively on Wii U next Friday, May 29.
