Spider-Man star Tom Holland rumoured to play Nathan Drake in Uncharted movie

Deadline has reported that Spider-Man Homecoming star Tom Holland is set to play Nathan Drake in the Uncharted movie that has been spoken about since 2008.

Holland will supposedly star in a Shawn Levy (Cheaper by the Dozen, The Internship) directed film adaptation that takes inspiration from the young Nathan Drake sections in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. In these scenes the young treasure hunter meets Victor Sullivan for the first time. This decision was apparently made after Sony Pictures Chairman Tom Rothman saw the latest cut of the upcoming Spider-Man movie.

Now, as mentioned above, people have talked about the Uncharted movie for years, so we’ll see if this actually does come to fruition. There’s been a number of scripts, and a number of leading men that were rumoured for the role, so put this in the maybe pile for the time being.

In the meantime, here’s Tom Holland dancing to Rihanna.
