American rapper DeAndre Cortez Way, otherwise known as Soulja Boy, has started selling his 'own' video game consoles via his website. Technically, they're not actually his; they are rebranded products, and expensive ones at that.

The 'Crank That' hitmaker is offering two different versions: SouljaGame Console and SouljaGame Handheld. The former, claims Soulja Boy, is capable of running titles from PlayStation, NeoGeo, PC, Sega, Game Boy Advance, and NES, plus 'SouljaGames,' whatever that means.

Meanwhile, the handheld version of the knockoff console runs Nintendo Switch, 3DS, PlayStation Vita, NeoGeo, and Game Boy Color/Advance games, and includes 3,000 built-in titles.

As mentioned, they're not cheap. The rapper is selling them at 66% more than you can get them on Amazon.

What about legal issues though? After all, it's not likely that the products he's selling will be running licensed games. Soulja Boy doesn't seem all that worried, though. 'Honestly, I don’t have any worries at all, any concerns, because everything we’re doing is legit. It’s been researched,' he told Rolling Stone.

In case you didn't know, Soulja Boy is an avid gamer, and has challenged people on his blog to beat him at games like Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3.

'I’m challenging anyone and EVERYONE who think they can touch me on Gears, Halo 3, or C.O.D 4. Find me on Live and get you some!' one of his video descriptions read. 'Don’t let the rapping fool you. Prepare to be PWND by Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em.'

It'll be interesting to see how this one pans out, for sure.
