Bandai Namco Games has announced that pirate chap Cervantes is returning to crack some heads in SoulCalibur VI.
Fans of the venerable fighting game series should be instantly familiar with Cervantes. He's appeared in every SoulCalibur game to date (one of only four to do so), and is pretty hard to miss, looking like a cross between an undead Captain Hook and Long John Silver. And then there's Acheron and Nirvana, the massive swords he loves to wield in combat.
Bamco describes Cervantes here as 'the shell of a proud man' and wields a fighting style known as the 'Memories of Soul Edge.' As per the norm, he's tenaciously hunting down the legendary blade, and isn't fussed about slicing up anyone who gets in his way.
SoulCalibur VI is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 19.
