Namco Bandai has announced Soulcalibur Lost Swords, a new free-to-play entry in the fighting series launching exclusively on PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network.

The F2P fighter will see the return of numerous familiar faces, including the likes of Siegfried and Mitsurugi, although it isn’t yet known when the game will release or how it will be structured.

Soulcalibur Lost Swords is the latest IP from Namco to be converted into a free-to-play title, following previous release Tekken Revolution and upcoming releases Ridge Racer Driftopia and Ace Combat Infinity.

Namco says that more details on Soulcalibur Lost Swords will be revealed during Tokyo Game Show next week.
