Sony will host its Gamescom press conference at 6pm BST on August 14, the platform holder has confirmed.
The event is being staged at Staatenhaus am Rheinpark in Cologne.
But what will Sony show off at the conference and will we get any major announcements? Sony does have a history of making big announcements at the German video games show, having used the event to reveal the PS Slim in the past.
This year’s conference could include the new form factor PS3, but there’s also great pressure on Sony to announce a PS Vita price drop.
Gamescom runs August 15 to 19 and VideoGamer.com will be there to bring readers all the announcements.
