Future has today announced that its Official PlayStation Magazine UK, which goes on sale Tuesday January 20, will carry an exclusive review of Killzone 2.

To mark the event, the February issue will be packaged inside a “highly collectable” holographic wallet, emblazoned with an image of a Helghast trooper which shifts colour, as the light catches it.

More interestingly, David Wilson, UK PR Manager at Sony Computer Entertainment UK, commenting on the review, stated: “Killzone 2 has been a long time in the making, and best showcases why PlayStation 3 is the only console powerful enough to deliver a ground-breaking title of this nature.”

There’s no doubting Killzone 2 is a stunning looking title, but you’ll have to wait until next month for our final verdict. Look out for more Killzone 2 coverage all this week.

Is Wilson correct? Is Killzone 2 beyond the capabilities of the Xbox 360? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
