Sony has extended the online multiplayer support for a selection of PlayStation 3 titles, including PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Warhawk.
The format holder had originally intended to pull the plug on the games at the end of October. However, it has now confirmed that both titles, alongside Sound Shapes and Twisted Metal, will have online support until January 31, 2019.
Still, it's worth mentioning that Warhawk is an online-only title, so you'll have to switch on your PS3 to LAN mode if you want to actually keep playing the game beyond January.
Fortunately, it's not too bad for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Twisted Metal, which both support single-player campaigns. Sound Shapes comes off even better, as the only thing you won't be able to do after the cut off is share and download community-created levels.
To be fair to Sony, most of those games have had a decent innings in terms of multiplayer support, especially Warhawk, which has been out for 11 years now.
