Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has issued an official response regarding the delayed PlayStation Store release of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.

The game had been scheduled for release as a downloadable title from the PlayStation Store on Thursday, March 27, but the delayed released meant gamers wanting to start racing had to make a trip to a real store to buy the Blu-ray Disc release.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has now issued an official response, noting: “Unfortunately due to some last minute technical difficulties, we were unable to publish the new content to the PS Store yesterday. We are working to resolve these issues and will let you know as soon as new content is posted”.
