Sony has finally made Remote Play available to iPhone customers today with PlayStation 4 update 6.50. It's only 422MB in size, so be sure to grab it asap.

The feature comes four years after the hardware giant rolled out Remote Play for its Xperia Z3 smartphones, and allows you to enjoy the service on your iPhone and iPad. Like that old lady said on the plane in Die Hard 2, 'isn't modern technology wonderful?'

If you're into Remote Play (something which PS Vita is fantastic at providing, I might add) then all you have to do to access it on your i-device is to simply grab the app

That's pretty much it as far as PS4 update 6.50 goes, so don't get your hopes up if you were hoping to now also have the ability to change our PSN ID. Hopefully that won't be too far off, as we are in PS4's sixth year on the market, after all.
