Overnight at CES 2011, Sony announced that there are now 60 million registered PSN accounts.
“This is a significant base of connected products,” declared Sony head honcho Howard Stringer. “As Godzilla once said, size does matter.”
Sony also used CES to show off a visor which can display 3D content, but there was no info on the PlayStation Phone and PSP2.

Before you jump the gun on that huge figure – Xbox LIVE has only 30 million registered users – it’s worth noting that Sony’s figure includes accounts across all networked Sony products – PlayStation consoles and devices such as Bravia televisions.
