UPDATE: Sonic Lost World will launch in the UK four days earlier than the US on October 18, SEGA has confirmed.

ORIGINAL STORY: Both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of Sonic Lost World will release in North America on October 22, SEGA has announced.

A European release date has yet to be confirmed, but we wouldn’t be too surprised to see it launch over here a few days later on October 25.

The US release date was revealed in the latest trailer for the game showcasing the new Colour powers granted to Sonic in the upcoming platformer, including the ability to turn into a bird, summon a cosmos, and become a weird, pink musical note… thing.

You can take a look at the trailer for yourself below.

Sonic Lost World is one of three Nintendo-exclusive Sonic titles expected to launch later this year and next, alongside Winter Sports tie-in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games and an unannounced title.
