Sonic Generations will launch for 3DS on November 22 in North America and November 25 across Europe, SEGA has announced.
Players can choose to play each stage, based on levels from Sonic’s past, as either Classic Sonic, or as the slightly trendier Modern Sonic. Pick the former and the action plays out as a 2D scrolling platformer; selecting the latter results in a 3D gameplay style that resembles Sonic Unleashed.
The console and PC version is out November 4. A new demo arrived on PSN and Xbox LIVE this week, which you can see footage of in our latest Extended Play below.
