SEGA has announced a European-exclusive Limited Edition for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
Though the contents of the Limited Edition have yet to be confirmed, the SKU is expected to contain similar items to the US’s Bonus Edition, which was revealed on SEGA blog last night.
The Bonus Edition includes an exclusive ‘OutRun Bay’ track inspired by SEGA’s classic arcade racer, plus a ‘Metal Sonic Mod Pack’ featuring a “prototype levitation vehicle”.
The edition also crams in an ‘Emoticon Sticker Pack’, which includes a host of collectibles for players to pick up via “skilful play, high scores and more”.
It’s not known whether the Limited Edition will cost more than the Standard Edition or be a day-one SKU.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is the sequel to Sumo Digital’s 2010’s kart racer Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.
Transformed introduces transforming vehicles to the series, letting players’ vehicles switch form to race across land, sea and air.
