SEGA has announced that Sonic 4: Episode 1, the first part of a downloadable series of side-scrolling platformers, will be released on all formats in October.
The game will be available for download on the iTunes App Store starting October 7, the PlayStation Network and XBLA on October 13 and WiiWare on October 15.
The game will be priced 1500 Wii Points, 1200 MS Points and £9.99.
