The original Sonic the Hedgehog will be appear as a bonus in Sonic Generations, according to the latter game’s producer.
As reported by Destructoid, the revelation was made by Team Sonic’s, Takashi Iizuka during a panel discussion at Paris Games Week.
No mention was made of whether you’ll have to unlock the game or if it’ll be available from the get-go.

Well, at least we know there’ll be at least one decent Sonic game in Sonic Generations.
Mean spirits aside, Generations looks like it might be half-decent. Still, we’ve been burnt by the Sonic Cycle enough times to know that we should be cautious with our expectations.
