Despite a somewhat problematic experience with Soldner – a bug ridden retail release that to this day still has problems – JoWooD has seen fit to go ahead and develop a sequel.
Developed in cooperation with gEasy, the team which ended up handling the ongoing development of patches for the first game, Soldner 2 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and focus its attention on online play.
In the first game, players could take control of all kinds of vehicles, planes, helicopters and ships (added in the game’s Marine Corps expansion), and a single-player element only existed as a way to train the player up to take part in the online multiplayer game.
