First up is Championship Manager 4, which set a UK record shifting 103,000 units during its first weekend on sale. Joining CM4 is Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, which has sold over a million copies worldwide despite a generally poor reception from fans and critiques.
Also announced for the Sold Out range is Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Spellforce: The Order of Dawn, IGI 2: Covert Strike, and Republic: The Revolution, a title which failed to live up to pre-launch expectations. Still, at only £4.99 a piece most problems can be cast aside, allowing you to enjoy what’s good about the games.
“Another month, another storming set of releases. What other publisher can offer the biggest names in the business at giveaway prices? We’ve already released twelve top titles this year and it’s only February. We’re so far ahead of the competition, it’s embarrassing – and I’m not easily embarrassed,” said Peter Ball, Sales Director of Mastertronic.
All the announced titles will be available later this month.
