SOCOM Special Forces, or SOCOM 4 as it’s known in the US, will hit UK stores on April 22, the EU PlayStation Blog has confirmed via Twitter. The game arrives in North America three days earlier on April 19, with mainland Europe getting the game on April 20, Australia and New Zealand on April 21.
Given that April 22 is a public holiday in the UK, we expect we’ll actually see it in stores on April 21.
The already busy April 21 release date just got even more crowded. Portal 2 will likely come out as the big winner, with Mortal Kombat also standing a good chance of doing well, but SOCOM and Red River face a tough opening week.
