Actor Kevin McKidd, who voices Captain ‘Soap’ MacTavish in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Soap had no voice in the first game), has revealed there are talks of a Call of Duty feature film and he’d like to be involved should the script be up to scratch.
“They were looking for a rough, Scottish actor in Hollywood they probably couldn’t get Gerard Butler, so they got the No.2 Gerard Butler, me. I had no idea it would be so huge, and now there are talks of a feature film,” McKidd told The New York Post’s Pop Wrap blog.
As for appearing in the movie should it go ahead, McKidd said that he’d “absolutely” be up for it providing the “script is good”.
