Snow and Valfodr DLC will be released for Final Fantasy XIII-2 on May 15, according to details from Japanese gaming publication Famitsu.
Expect a new episode for Snow which will explore the feelings he and Serah have for each other. The episode’s theme is “Don’t fight for me”.
Director Motomu Toriyama said that the new episode will also clear up some mysteries behind the coliseum, and players will also learn about Snow’s mission as a L’Cie.
Valfodr will crop up in the second half of Snow’s episode, with the ability to use weapons, magic and summons. He’ll need to be defeated several times throughout the episode, each time returning with additional abilities.
Valfodr is the strongest opponent players will face in the Coliseum, and when at his maximum level is the most powerful monster in Final Fantasy XIII-2 as a whole.
There’s currently no word on pricing.
