US rapper Snoop Dogg has called on Microsoft to “fix yo’ sh*t” after a server outage last night left Xbox players unable to connect to Xbox Live.

The service is reported to have gone offline at around 7pm GMT yesterday evening, prompting Snoop Dogg to leave an angry message “to Xbox One or Microsoft or whoever the f**k” was responsible for restoring the servers.

“A message to Xbox One or Microsoft or whoever the f**k,” Snoop Dogg said in a video on Instagram. “Y’all f**king server is f**king whack, man. Y’all gonna make me switch to PlayStation if y’all don’t happen to get this sh*t fixed. It’s that difficult to play somebody online. What the f**k is you doing, Bill Gates? Fix yo’ sh*t, man.”

PS4, of course, has suffered its fair share of downtime, too, having crumbled under the weight of users signing in to PSN on Black Friday.

Microsoft has not said what caused Xbox Live to go offline last night.
