The PlayStation 5 version of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 has arrived in an ‘Elite Edition’, publisher CI Games has announced.

The game, which originally released in June was delayed on the PS5 due to “unforeseen technical issues” just before launch. However, the game has now arrived with a new trailer to herald the latest version. It includes 4K resolution support with “updated visuals and textures”. There’s also support for the console’s DualSense Adaptive Triggers and Haptic Feedback. There’s a choice between Visual Mode which allows for 4K at 30FPS and Performance Mode supporting 2K and 60FPS.

This edition also comes along with a free Crossbow Carnage weapons pack to make up for the delay. The pack includes a bunch of new weapons including the titular Crossbow, a 550 TRV Sniper Rifle, Mad Sherriff 9 Revolver, Car K8 Assault Rifle and Zebra skin. There’s also the recently released Butcher’s Banquet expansion also thrown in for free. Those who already picked up the PlayStation 4 version will still be eligible for a free upgrade to the PS5 version.
