A job posting suggests that Modern Warfare 3 co-developer Sledgehammer Games is in the formative stages of producing its next Call of Duty title.

The vacancy – spotted on Gamasutra via ThatVideoGameBlog – states that the position is for an “unannounced high-end console title” on the Sledgehammer Games’ “Call of Duty development team”

“Sledgehammer Games is looking for an exceptional online engineer to help bring our online experience to a new level,” says the job listing.

“The candidate will be involved in the creation of multiplayer game modes and online community features for an unannounced high-end console title.”

Before being drafted in to develop Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer Games had spent six months working on a third-person Call of Duty title.
