Skyrim is being remastered for PS4, Xbox One and PC this October, Bethesda has announced.
Skyrim: Special Edition features remastered art and effects, dynamic depth of field, new snow/water shaders, and other graphical enhancements, along with mod support across both console and PC. It’s due to launch on October 28.
“Skyrim Special Edition… brings the epic fantasy to life in stunning, remastered detail , with all the official add-ons included,” said Bethesda. For the first look check out the trailer above.
UPDATE: Skyrim Special Edition will be free to PC owners who already own Skyrim and all its DLC, or the Legendary Edition, Bethesda has announced.
