Skylanders SWAP Force, the third title in the collectible toy video game franchise, will also be released on Xbox One and PS4, Activision has announced.
Developer Vicarious Visions – responsible for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U versions – has been named as the next-gen developer.
SWAP Force’s major selling point is the ability for players to swap the top and bottom halves of the 16 Skylanders figures to create more than 250 unique combinations.
An October 18 release date has been announced for current generation versions, with Xbox One and PS4 editions likely to appear alongside the console launches.
