Resident Evil 6 will support online cooperative play for up to six players, according to a now removed listing on Xbox.com.
Two players will be able to work together on one system.
The removed details also stated that eight players can battle it out online in competitive multiplayer modes. Capcom is yet to confirm or deny any of these details.
Resident Evil 6 will be released November 20, 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC version will follow at a later date.

Resident Evil 5 had two player co-op, Racoon City will allow four players to work together, but six players is unheard of for a Resident Evil title.
