After holding its breath for well over three years, the world can finally breath a sigh of relief. The Sims 4 is coming out on the Xbox One and it‘s been scheduled for release on November 17, according to its listing on the Microsoft store. This is all pretty exciting stuff, right?

The Microsoft store lists both the vanilla version (that’s barebones, not the flavour) and the Deluxe Edition. If you pre-order the vanilla version, you’ll also get The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff, which comes with ‘hot tubs, more fashion’ and ‘bonus décor!’ The Deluxe Edition comes with three whole days of early access, The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff, Life of the Party digital content, Up All Night digital content, Awesome Animal Hats digital content and more… stuff. Probably. But I ask this: what’s three days in comparison to three years?

Alice went in-depth on the mod community additions to The Sims 4. I wonder if any of these features will make these way over to the Xbox One? I sure would like to do some ‘incredible things’ with my Sim.

It won’t be long before you can create your own Sim, build a digitally perfect home, and play with digital lives in various macabre and experimental ways.

The Sims 4 is due for release on November 17 for Xbox One. Although if you pre order the Deluxe Edition you’ll get in three days earlier, on November 14.
