SimCity will release on Mac on August 29, 2013, EA has announced.
The game was originally due to launch on Apple’s platform on June 11, but was delayed to “ensure the Mac [version offers] a great experience” for players.
It’s also cross-platform compatible, meaning that players who have already purchased the PC version of the game will be entitled to download the Mac version at no additional cost via Origin.
SimCity has sold in excess of 2 million copies since launching on PC back in March.
