The Silent Hill 2 soundtrack is the latest video game score to be made available on vinyl, Mondo has announced. The score, composed by Akira Yamaoka, is scheduled to arrive in late March.

You'll be able to get your orders in from tomorrow, and the soundtrack will be available as a 2x 180 gram vinyl in black or colour variation. Worldwide shipping is up for grabs too, with the score itself costing $34.99.

Silent Hill 2's soundtrack is one of my personal favourite game scores of all time, and Team Silent's seminal title quite simply wouldn't be the same without Yamaoka-san's spine-chilling compositions.

Silent Hill 2 itself is widely considered by gamers to be one of the best horror games of all time. It launched on PlayStation 2 back in 2001, and was ported to PC and Xbox with new content under the Director's Cut moniker.
